During the 2014-15 school year, the 70,000 sf only TCU all-female residence hall was completely renovated. The interior of the building was completely gutted and rooms, hallways and the front entrance were reconfigured as part of the first major change to the building since it opened in 1957. The renovated Colby Hall with 347 residents is now a LEED Gold certified building for its energy, resource-efficient design and construction measures.
