The Texas Facilities Commission – TFC Capitol Complex Project reimagines the State Capitol Complex as a destination for visitors and a central location for all state agencies. The two buildings completed for Phase I are the George H.W. Bush State Office Building (1801 Congress Ave) and the Barbara Jordan State Office Building (1601 Congress Ave). Together, they add up to over 1 million square feet and allow for the consolidation of government staff previously working in leased space.
Cherry Coatings worked on both buildings, each with a separate general contractor. The scope of our Austin team included core & shell, as well as finish outs and floor coatings.
