Changing products after already ordering paint can turn into a headache. Figuring out what to do with excess paint is not always clear cut.
An option could be to save it for another project, but since it has already been tinted, it would not match future customer specifications.
Another option is disposing of it, which can be expensive and produce waste.
Our field manager John leaned into the Cherry Coatings Core values to figure out the solution. Showcasing a Servant Heart, he decided to call Habitat for Humanity to donate fifty five-gallon buckets of SW A-100 Flat, totaling 250 gallons of paint. This quantity is enough to coat the exterior of 4-5 small homes in the Austin area.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home.
