Inspiration for the 21-story, 226-room hotel – an adaptive reuse of the iconic Great Southwest Building, originally known as the Petroleum Building, drawn from Houston’s unique history and rich culture. Take note of the property’s Art Deco details, including stone carvings from the original 1920s building; custom artwork highlighting the city’s oil industry roots, storied cowboy culture and NASA influence; and sophisticated, modern furnishings.
Located in the heart of the central business district at 1314 Texas Ave., the Cambria Hotel Houston Downtown Convention Center is a short walk to the George R. Brown Convention Center and Minute Maid Park, the home stadium of the city’s professional baseball team. The hotel is also conveniently near many of the city’s major corporations and the region’s largest employers, including Chevron Corp., JPMorgan Chase & Co. and United Airlines, as well as many entertainment, dining, culture, history and performing arts offerings.
This hotel in Oklahoma City is a combination boutique hotel, contemporary art museum, and chef-driven restaurant. Building on its mission of engaging the public with contemporary art, and supporting the revitalization of American downtowns the Museum Hotel was a rehabilitated project of the historic Ford Motor Company Manufacturing Building in the west end in Oklahoma City.
Opened in March 2018, this is the largest of the Fairmont hotels in the chain. The Fairmont Austin also features a skyway connection to the Austin Convention Center. The building is topped with a 170-foot lighted spire and is destined to become a landmark luxury hotel in downtown Austin, with its expansive entrance, and impressive amenities. A nod to its Texas roots is evident in many places, such as the impressive bronze statue of horses that dominates the entrance.
This 16-story Kimpton Boutique Hotel is located in the Rainey Street District of Austin, Texas. The 367,676-square foot hotel consists of 322 guest rooms, a 6,800-square foot pool deck and indoor-outdoor bar, 1,300-square foot fitness facility, and 4 levels of underground parking. The hotel also includes a 3-meal restaurant, lobby walk-up café, and 12,000 square feet of meeting space that includes a ballroom, board rooms, and meeting rooms.
Opened in 2015, the JW Marriott Austin received LEED Silver certification. Amenities include 42 meeting rooms, a fitness center, a pool on the fifth floor, 112,000 square feet of event space. Dining options include Osteria Pronto, featuring Italian cuisine; Corner, which offers Texas-inspired food and drinks; a Starbucks coffee shop; and a walk-up burger bar along Congress Avenue. The hotel sits on top of a three-level, 471-space parking garage. Renovations were completed in 2019.
Opened summer 2020, at 31-stories, Marriott Austin downtown will feature over 613 guest rooms (including 25 stunning suites), a rooftop pool with breathtaking views, three bars, locally inspired restaurant, and more than 60,000 square feet of meeting space. Located across the street from the Austin Convention Center and in walking distance from famed 6th Street, the hotel is in the ideal location in one of America’s top-rated cities. Guests will also be able to keep their vehicles out of the elements in the self-contained 257-space underground parking garage.
The Marriott Dallas Uptown project will be a full-service Marriott branded hotel. The hotel will be a half block from the Katy Trail, which is Dallas’s most active biking and pedestrian trail. The site is within a short walk of over five million square feet of Dallas’s best office space and also over 60 restaurants and bars. Marriott will be exceptionally positioned to benefit from both business and leisure travelers. Completed Q4 2020, and will be opening in early January at 3033 Fairmount Street.

Situated in Downtown’s Second Street District, Austin Proper Hotel and Residences opened in Fall 2019 in Austin, just steps from Lady Bird Lake, the legendary Austin City Limits music venue, and nearby boutiques. Amenities offered are a dedicated spa and fitness center, and 14,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, including a rooftop pool deck offering small-batch tequilas and majestic lake views. Opened in November 2020 the Thompson Hotel in Dallas blends sophistication and southern hospitality. This development by Todd Interests is located downtown in the re-development of the iconic 52-story First National Bank Tower. Known as The National, the architectural design was led by award-winning, Merriman Anderson Architects, who restored many of the 1961 building’s original elements, including historic marble from the Parthenon quarry. Built in 2015, the LEED certified Westin Austin Downtown is a prime example of the Westin chain brand. It’s located in downtown Austin, near 6th Street and the Austin Convention Center. The hotel offers a great rooftop pool and bar, Southern cuisine restaurant with occasional live music, modern gym, and large meeting rooms, as well as 119 below grade parking spaces.
Oklahoma’s largest gaming resort, WinStar World Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma expanded with two new hotels – an 18-story, 340,000 sq. ft., 500-room hotel tower and a 15-story, 297,000 sq. ft., 500-room hotel tower, both designed by Hnedak Bobo Group – complement and connect to an existing 12-story, 400-room hotel in a ‘Y’ configuration.
